Dainippon Screen
Dainippon Screen Mfg. Co., Ltd was established in 1943 in Kyoto, Japan and first exhibited at the Drupa event in 1962.
Screen is one of the industry's largest suppliers of semi conductor and electronics equipment. The company has been a commercial partner to Fujifilm for a number of years which compliments the Inca - Fujifilm Sericol partnership.
The company's core products include semiconductor, FPD and PCB production equipment, and graphic arts prepress, and digital press equipment.
Screen has over 4500 employees throughout the group's companies which include Inca Digital Printers.
Screen and Inca
Dainippon Screen of Kyoto, acquired Inca in June 2005 as part of the on-going expansion of Screen's digital printing business. Inca now operates as an independent company within the Dainippon Screen Group.
The acquisition will enable Inca to develop profitable applications
in totally new areas. Screen fully supports Inca's development and
commercial strategies as well as their commitment to existing partnerships.
Screen distributes the Inca Spyder 150 in some European countries, expanding the company's profile in the flatbed inkjet industry. Screen has extensive experience of the print industry - being the world's largest supplier of Computer to Plate equipment - and also produces digital print solutions such as the popular Truepress Digital Offset press, Truepress Jet and variable data printers.
