Junior Controls Engineer
Reporting to the Control Systems Manager, the Junior Controls Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance of existing control systems, and may undertake engineering design, development, construction and testing of new product control systems.
Probably educated to at least HNC / HND level or with an approved apprenticeship in electrical or technical engineering, a degree in electrical or control engineering would be a distinct advantage. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of PLC and motion systems including Drive Technology, HMI and Networks equipment, as well as knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems, with at least one years experience of working within an automated process environment.
A logical approach to problem resolution along with a flexible working approach is essential for this role, as is the ability to work well with others at every level.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
