Production Manager

Our continued expansion has given rise to an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join our fast-growing manufacturing team.
In order to support future demand and to continue our improvement we are looking for a Manager to control machine build activities in Production.
Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing and Supply, the role will work closely with the Production Manager for Sub Assemblies, leading a team of Production staff, ensuring that all people and facility resources are in place and organised to meet the business demands. Both Managers will work in conjunction with Team Leaders to maintain efficient production, and with Customer Support for the hand over of the product for installation and transfer of knowledge.
Qualified to at least HND level in an engineering discipline, the ideal candidate will have 5 years experience as a Production Manager in a machine manufacturing environment, broad technical knowledge and an understanding of machine and inventory management. The role requires strong planning, organisational, and analytical skills, a high degree of integrity and diplomacy, excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to lead and motivate, creating an environment for team building.
